| MLA Pawar organizes awareness camp on women empowerment | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 22: MLA and president, Mahila congress Indu Pawar organized an aw areness ca mp seminar for empowerment of women in various rural areas of district Jammu in collaboration with central bank of India. During the camps held at Sumb, Puracback, Malo chack and Purmandal bank accounts are being opened in favour of women with a group of 20 members. The bank is helping the rural women for being self sufficient in arranging the capital required for starting small micro units are their own level. Addressing the gathering, MLA Pawar asked the women in mass to come out of their homes and support the reservation bill for women in parliament. She said that it is the greatest gift to women folks after independence. She also gave a patient hearing to the problems of the people and assured them of their early redressal.
She emphasized on the importance of these camps by which they can organize small groups and avail the facilities being provided by the central bank of India for empowering and making them self sufficient. The gathering was also addressed by Bank officials and various guests.
