EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | OCT 27 Election for the post of District president of District Jammu (Urban) of BJP were held at party headquarters here today. Kavinder Gupta was unanimously elected as district president. According to press release Prof. Hari Om, Ashok Khajuria and Ravinder Gupta were elected as members of BJP State Council. The State president Dr. Nirmal Singh who was the election incharge the district conducted these elections. Prof. Hari Om, Ashok Khajuria, Charanjit Singh Khalsa, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Mohan Gupta, Shiv Kumar Gupta, Balbir Ram, Rakesh Gupta, RAmesh Sharma, Vikram Randhawa, Vinay Gupta, Yudhvir Sethi, Subash Jandial, Shubh Chander Verma, Dinesh Gupta, Balwatn Singh, Raj Rani, Parmod Kapahi and others were prominent among those who were present on the occasion. In another elections held at Ramban, Shyam Singh Katoch was unanimously elected as district president of Ramban while Shashi Pal Goswami and Yog Raj Gupta were elected as mandal presidents of Assar-Batote and Ramban mandals respectively in the presence of Distt. Election incharge Parmod Kapahi and State General secretary Bali Bhagat.
