EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Sept 22: Even as curfew continued across Kashmir today, 103 people have died and several others injured in 104 days of unrest in the valley.
"Sajad Ahmad Pandit, who was injured in clashes in Sheikhpora area of Badgam district on Sep 13, succumbed to injuries in the hospital this morning," police sources said.
Doctors at the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, (SKIMSS) said he had been admitted in the hospital with critical injuries.
With Pandit's death, the toll of people who lost their lives in the 104 days' unrest in the valley has risen to 103.
Authorities here decided to continue the indefinite curfew in entire summer capital Srinagar and all other major towns of the valley Wednesday.
"Indefinite curfew continues in entire Srinagar city and other major towns of the valley today to prevent miscreants from inciting youth to violence here," the sources added.
However, sources in the administration said curfew could be relaxed following improvement in situation.
