| GMC to hold ANCIAPP today | | | early times report
JAMMU, Sept 23: With great humility and delight Department of psychiatry, Government Medical College Jammu is holding 11th Annual National Conference of Indian Association of Private Psychiatry (ANCIAPP-2010) at Royal Retreats, Hotel Hari Niwas from 24th to 26th September.
The theme of this conference 'Social and Cultural Transitions: A Mental Health Prospective' is an fitting one in today's psychiatry in general and particularly for the psychiatry of this State considering various socio political conditions prevailing these days here like that of manmade disasters, migrations, natural disasters, etc. especially when we consider the social repercussions and rehabilitative aspects of these events. The conference will be host to a number of psychiatrists of great repute from both national and international arena. Those prominent ones will of the likes of Dr. V K Razdan, Dr. Avdesh Sharma, Dr. Rajesh Nagpal, Dr. Vijay Nagaswami, Dr. Margoob Mushtaq and Dr. T S S Rao.
