Chambal Fertilizers donate for Leh victims | | | EARLY TIMES report Jammu, Sept 23: Thousands of people have been affected by the recent flash floods at Ladakh. With winter to just set in and temperatures already going down, people are looking for help not only from government but also from individuals and corporate sector. To help mitigate the sufferings of victims of Leh, staff and management of Chambal fertilizers and chemicals Limited - one of the major Fertilizer supplier in the state took an initiative with its Dy. General Manager H.M Sharma visiting the remote villages personally. He was accompanied by the Deputy Manager of J&K Sanjay Pahuja. Sharma shared the grief of the people affected on the loss of life and property in Ladakh. Chambal Fertilizers also distributed 100 pressure cookers and 300 quilts among the needy in remote villages of Igoo, Neru, Gia, Thiksay, and Stalmou. Assistant Commissioner Leh Tsering Dolma and Shahid, OSD - Relief coordinator Leh also accompanied the Chambal team in respective villages. Tsering Dolma thanked Sharma on behalf of government people of ladakh and said that people here will always remember this goodwill gesture of the company. |
