| Sareen's 'Baakhan Keh Aakhan' released | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 23: J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages in collaboration with Madar Bhadra Kaikay Sanskritik Sangathan today release a book entitled "Baakhan Keh Aakhan" written by Dr. Neelam Sareen at K.L. Saigal Hall. The programme was presided over by Mahamandleshwar Mahant Ram Parkash Dass MLA Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, Veteran Dogri writer Desh Bandhu Dogra Nutan were part of as chief guest and special guest respectively.
The programme was commenced with the welcome address by Savita Bakshi said that the Academy has been doing such programmes with an aim to encourage the budding artists, writers who play a vital role in building a health nation. The welcome address was followed by a paper presentation in which Dr. Rama Sharma read out an introductory paper on the book.
Prof. Gupta in his address said that the writers fraternity is very honest with their literary work, so this section of people can bring revolution in the society with their literary work. Desh bandhu Dogra Nutan also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the efforts of Dr. Sareen who has presented a comparative study of Rajasthani and Dogri proverbs in her book in a very successful way. |
