Mid-day meal victimized 14 students 1 Teacher at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, Sept 23: The students of Govt. Middle School Bagwan Mohalla Kishtwar, one by one brought to District Hospital Kishtwar when they complain about feeling giddiness adhace , and other abnormalities, within just half an hour the strength of these students reached to 14, and the emergency block of District Hospital Kishtwar were become full of peoples and relatives of these ailing school students. The attendants of these students alleged that after taking the food served in the school under Mid-day-meals they fall ill, whereas the teachers posted in this school who were also camping in the hospital said that among these 14 students 4 are those who have not taken any food served in the school under Mid-day-meals. Altaf Hussain Khan when contacted said that during school hours a student suffered nasal bleeding , and on seeing it some other children become psychic , as there is no symptoms of food born disease . Dr. Ajay Gupta CMO Kishtwar and Dr. Parvez Iqbal Wani BMO Kishtwar said that all the students are complaining of giddiness and adhace for which the required medicens have been administrised over them and they have been kept under observation.  Meanwhile the samples foodgrains provided to this school under Mid-day meals, and the sample of water used in its cooking has been taken to ascertain the actual acuse behind this episode. Nusrat Parveen Ex. Vice President Municipal Committee Kishtwar said that the food is being cooked un-hygienically, besides the contaminated water being used in its cooking, she urged upon the authorities to order the enquiry into the episode . Various social workers were seen in Hospital Kishtwar for extending their help to medical staff . 
On hearing the news MLA Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo rushed to hospital Kishtwar and enquired about their health to the students, he also interacted with the teachers and Z.E.O Kishtwar. The family members of students alleged that this school is being neglected by education department and no sufficient infrasacture in this school is available , they compelled him to visit the premises of Govt, M.S Bagwan Mohalla Kishtwar. 
The actual cause of incident is not known yet , but the remaining students who had also come hospital for checkup said they should not take mid day meal in future , as they are worried .
