| Workshop on communication skills | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 23: A 10 day workshop on "Communication Skills and Personality Development" organized by Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), concluded here today at Government College for women (GCW) Parade.
Principal of the college Dr. Kiran Bakshi was chief guest in the valedictory function. In her address, she complemented students and organizers for enriching academic milieu by organizing such activities. Dr. Kiran Bakshi also distributed the participation certificates among the students and congratulated them for their achievements.
Earlier, Convenor IQAC Dr. M.S. Pathania welcomed the Guests and presented a brief report on the proceedings of the workshop. He informed that a total of 150 students of the college from the streams of Functional English, Commerce and Home Science participated in the workshop.
Seema from Perfect E- Solutions Panchkula was the resource person for the workshop. Dr. Pathania expressed satisfaction over the achievements of the students as per the feedback obtained from them and said that the IQAC has also planned to start with another 10 day workshop to cover up the students of other streams of the college.
The students from different groups also gave their feed back about the workshop. Senior faculty members including Dr. Shashi Koul, HOD (Home Science) Prof. Neelam Mohan, HOD (English) Prof. Suman Gupta, H.O.D (Commerce) members of the IQAC and students were present on the occasion. Prof. Meenu Mahajan presented votes of thanks.
