| Bazaz welcomes all party meet with separatists | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum chief Bhushan Bazaz termed the meeting of some all party delegation members with main separatists leaders as a welcome and positive step.
"We must appreciate the fact that the delegates chose not to stand on their dignity and instead knocked on the door of the separatists which is a welcome step and one hoped a serious initiative will follow which would determine the success of the meeting,'' Bazaz said.
Earlier when there were reports that the delegation will be meeting only mainstream politicians, the visit seemed a formality and stage managed, but when the delegation called on separatists expectation were roused". It was like India speaking to the people of Kashmir and if it yields nothing there will be hopelessness, which can have very dangerous consequences" Bazaz added.
