| Impersonator held from exam centre | | | early times report
RAJOURI, Sept 23: An impersonator, who was appearing in 12th class examination at Sunderbani here, was today arrested by police. He was identified as Sunil, a BA part I student in a private college at Sunderbani. Police sources said he was appearing for Vipan Kumar, son of Baldev Raj. Both hail from Akhnoor. Sources said Sunil was taking the examination in the Sunderbani boys higher secondary school's centre No 502 under roll No 502900 when the centre superintendent Roshan Lal got suspicious of him. When Roshan checked his roll number slip, he found that Sunil was a fake examinee, the sources added.
Sunil was apprehended and later handed over to police. Sources said police had registered a case against him under section 419 of RPC.
Raids were being conducted to nab Vipan, who had gone underground after Sunil's arrest, the sources added.
