There is no ambiguity that Manmohan Singh Prime Minister of India is a Saint. This has been rightly endorsed by great personalities like world Renowned Spiritual leader Dalai Lama, Barak Obama, President of USA. Indeed he possesses several rare saintly qualities like honesty, gentleness politeness etc. and above all competence in his subject (economics). Of course we are proud of him. However my feeling is that he is a saint like person but not a true saint. I expect & India wants him to be a true Sikh i.e. true Sant Sapahiof Sache Badshah Guru Govind Singh ji(because he is charged with responsibility of protecting the security and other interested of the country as a top ruler/administrator)to which he is in proximity but need to demonstrate on ground to be his worthy Sant Sapahi. For this he shall have to prove a competent P.M. & not merely a competent economist. This warrant following qualities of Guru Govind Singh ji to be imbibed practiced & manifested by him on ground.
Guru Govind Singh ji sacrificed his everything, even lives of three generations i.e. father, himself & his progeny for the sake of Truth/ Principles/Dharma. But history of 6 years Manmohan Singh’s regime amply proves that he is more interested in retaining exalted seat of P.M. rather to uphold the principles of Raj Dharma by becoming a party to serious well known wrongs of his party colleagues, exhibiting no moral guts either to leave the chair or expose the culprits & who do not cooperate him and cull the proven bad elements from his team & coalition partners. He is busy in making use of CBI & other agencies to reward or punish the political leaders of his alliance supporting from inside or outside the house simply to retain his chair.
Guru Govind Singh ji take 5 payaras from most down trodden segments of the society & made them lions (singhs) but Manmohan Singh never roars or behaves/ functions like a lion. He is surrounded by a cotier of power hungry leaders for which he acts like Dhristrastra rather like Gandhari to real Dhristrastra Sonia Gandhi shielding the most corrupt leaders with in his party & allied partners.
Guru Govind Singh ji did not accept conditional military or financial support from Himachal Pradesh Rajas & Maha Rajas & never compromised to disassociate from helping & patronizing weaker sections of the society & knowingly suffered heavily on this account. Manmohan Singh, a paper Tiger outwardly works for welfare of SC/ST but just a garner political support but not prepared to suffer by eliminating creamy layer & fixing time frame for discontinuing reservations based on religion, caste etc. & adopt meritocracy.
Guru Govind Singh ji was a true Secularist by conviction. He had many Muslims in his Govt. like Peer BudhShah, Nabi Khan, Gauri Khan etc. But Manmohan Singh is proving to be a pseudo secular only encouraging vote bank politics for securing power & authority by adopting appeasement policy dividing & weakening the country on the base of religion, caste & creed.
Unlike Manmohan Singh who is being called by some sycophants spiritual king adopting Raj Dharma. Mr. M. Singh despite being at top of administrative Hierarchy is not bothered about protecting & promoting moral & ethical values in the society. Quality of life is deteriorating very fastly due to rapid dwindling social values. There is no peace of mind. All this is due to blindly adopting western model of education, development etc. bored in materialist i.e. body development /comforts which could usher economic prosperity to some extent but at the cost morality ðics/ national character and cutting the very roots of our own pride & praise worthy world respected culture & civilization/ ethos. We have failed to evolve & develop our own model of education, economic development, our own laws, systems based on simultaneous & harmonious development of body, mind & Soul even 63 years after independent. Is M. Singh not total failure on this vital aspect of national interest.
We shall be really proud of M. Singh if he supplements & compliments his some saintly qualities which he has been blessed by Wahe Guru to prove as a real Sant. He should show least concern for all worldly possessions i.e. name, fame, status, wealth, good family etc all already bountifully bestowed upon him by almighty. Now he must be spiritually prepared not to cling to these for entirety. As a litmus test either by resigning to demonstrate that he is free form moh/creed Mamta(attachment for petty & cheap politics which is not be all & end all in life) Ahankar (ego of power & authority, name & fame) Tayag(to sacrifice the throne of Prime Minister ship) all prerequisite qualities of a saint are act firmly & dispassionately instead of being continue to be called as a weakest P.M. by not taking bold, timely drastic & prompt decisions & implement the same promptly and not on snail pace so that ailing patient(sick society) die before physician (PM) starts effective treatment instead of only giving civil sermons like preachers without matching with actions/achievements by simply adopting pre planned political game plans just to protect personal or party interest can he be absolved for not bringing about political/electoral reforms, administrative, judicial, police, jail reforms. Lok Pal bill is lingering on since decades. Lok ayukts are not proving purposeful nexus between corrupt, & inefficient politicians, administration &criminals is becoming stronger day by day resulting in wide spread corruption in the society. Crores of people are dying of hunger, diseases & poverty grains are rotting in stores/open. Ammunition carrying trucks are not traceable may be going to the hands of naxalities. Common wealth games speak volume of corruption. Price escalation is on ever rise. Graph of crime, violence, scandals, rackets, land grabbing, frauds are multiplying. Gulf between the rich & the poor is widening. All leading to social disorders, social imbalances, unrest, chaos and anarchy. Terrorism/Militancy/Insurgency/Maoism, Naxalism& the like. As in economist M. Singh should not forget the factors leading to industrial revolution in France, Communist upsurge in Russia, china etc. he should read writings on the wall & hear the alarming bells in India too. How long the people can remain oppressed, suppressed & deprived of rights & justice. What hinders him to adopt Indonesian model for eradication of corruption with in the frame work of democracy. How long ruler/king of India will take refuse that under democratic setup ruthless & swift reformers are not possible. Let them learn from Indonesia, Brazil etc.
Is Manmohan Singh not aware that till deeds of the govt. with ulterior motives have brought India to a shameful status of being one of the top most corrupt, most inefficient & very low in terms of human resource development & other internationally recognized indices. We cannot boast of economic prosperity which cannot be attributed to govt. machinery alone but is a net result of globalization & privatization in the country. Economic prosperity alone must not suffice but must be suffused with high level of moral & ethical values, character, discipline etc which are measurably lacking in the country resulting into corrupt, weak & inefficient governance. How long Sant P.M. will continue to tolerate utilization of only 10% to 40% of the public money on ground, rest swindled by the nexus between politicians, bureaucrats in connivance with criminals. Should M. Singh derive consolation that corruption is a global phenomena & not confined to India. Should he not make India proud by making it corruption free country. For this if M. Singh is really interested to be answerable not only to the people of India but to Wahe Guru then he must not succumb down to any pressure from any quarter for getting subject of moral & ethical values introduced in all schools, colleges including professionals & universities as a compulsory & separate subject. He shall have to muster political will to be controlled only by Dharma/ethical & moral values i.e. constitution/laws/rules which must be applicable to one & all in the country including P.M. Politicians must not be made insulated against any law of land like RTI, Vigilance Commission, Election Commission etc must never be used to retain power through foul means. If M. Singh is really a Sant king, he must stick to his words “Catch big fish” for quickest, cheapest & most effective results. He shall have to hang 2 or 3 top most corrupt persons from politics, bureaucracy & civil society. He must learn from China for hanging the director & other high ups & not the food inspectors found guilty for deaths due to milk adulteration, Gulf Countries which cut hands of a thief as a result of which no body dare to pick up even unclaimed huge money in cash or kind. For ushering Ram Raj/Khalsa Raj (Purest form of governance) M. Singh shall have not only to worship Guru Govind Singh ji but to seek his blessing to equip him with his virtuous deeds to become a worthy Sant Sapahi.
I as Founder of Vichar Kranti Manch International would like to sincerely & humbly with folded hands suggest to P.M. not to continue to stand on weak crutches of others but to stand on his own legs & strengthen his muscles by vitamins of boldness, impartiality, elements of sacrifice etc. Since a person is known by the company he keeps. A Saint in bad company is simply tarnishing his own image.
