| Government failed to curb corruption: Mehboob Beigh | | | Baramulla, Oct 28 : Opposition Party National Conference’s province president Dr. Mehboob Beig today said that there is hell of difference between coalition government’s word and action as ruling party’s loopholes in governance and execution of polices comes fore when one check it at ground level. Taking dig at Mufti regime he said, “When Mufti was chief Minster, the state got the worst tag of being second corrupt state in the entire country as found by a transparent agency. Corruption is increasing every now and then and collation government has failed to not only curb it but also to check it ” Addressing party workers, here today, he said further, “ There has been a large scale bungling in earth quake relief distribution and the party workers including public is being deprived of BPL ration cards. Government should issue white paper of relief distribution and check corruption.” Adding he said that People’s Democratic party has been deceiving people by saying that self-rule advocated by it is the same self rule which is in the account of Vajpayee and Pakistan president General Parvaiz Mushraf which seems impossible. Beig was addressing to one-day party workers convention at Dakbanglow Baramulla. MLA Pattan Dr. Mustfa Kamal, former MLA and Provinces president for women wing Sleema Fordous, Youth General secratry Irafan Shah accompanied him. MLA Pattan Dr. Mustfa Kamal said, “ People in far flung areas suffer due to lack of basic aminites and collation government tall of development proves mere hoax. He said government should give attention to check the problems of public at ground level.” Provinces president for women wing Sleema Fordous lamented on Mufti government said, “ During Mufti led government chastity of innocent girls were sold and they were lured in the name of government employment which is itself shame of the collation government.’ |
