| Horticulture department to organize awareness camps | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur Sept 24: In order to promote Information, Communication and Education (ICE) activities in district Udhampur under Rashtrya Krishi Vigyan Yojana for the welfare of farming community especially orchardists, the department of Horticulture, Udhampur is organizing awareness camps at Panachayat Ghar Basat on Sept 30, and in Panchayat Ghar Sudhmahadev on Oct 05, in tehsil Chenani.
The Chief Horticulture officer, Udhampur, has advised the Horticulture Development officer, Chenani to make all out efforts for organizing the awareness camp on the schedule dates and time and ensure maximum attendance of farmers in the camps so that the farming community could avail the benefit of schemes which would help to raise their socio economic status.
