| Sewa Dal concerned over standard of education | | | Early Times Report
DODA, Sept 24: Congress Sewa Dal has expressed great concern over falling standard of education in Assar block of Doda.
President of the Sewa Dal unit for Doda and State Secretary Bashir Ahmed Wani alleged that at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Assar where maximum students belong to BPL families, school charged Rs 100 from students for purchasing of desks and furniture.
Congress Sewa Dal demanded independent inquiry into the financial bungling and nepotism. Dal has demanded strict action against the Principal and alleged that the Principal is involved in mess and has ignored rules and regulations of the education department. Omkar, Mohammed Amin ,Rakesh Kumar, Abdul Hafeez Batt ,Salem Malik and Masood Sheikh were also present on the occasion .
