| Army takes step forward for communal amity | | | Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, Sept 24: To strengthen bonds of communal harmony among different sections of the society, 4 Rashtriya Rifles organized an informal function at officer’s mess here today.
Commander Suigarh Sector Brig. Sharabh Pachory interacted with prominent persons from different sections as part of Army’s “winning the heart and mind” measures. Prominent Citizen present during the function were T.R.Katoch, Choudhary Shabir Ahmed, Shadi Lal Kotwal, Desh Raj Kotwal, Mast Nath Yogi, Daya Krishan Kotwal, Ashraf Goni, Tariq Hussain Maulvi, Shabhir Khan, Mohd Majid Malik, Abdul Quyoom, Shauqat Ali Malik, Manjit Razdan, Mohinder Singh and M.S.Dhillon.
Speaking on the occasion, Col Paramjeet Singh said that main aim to organize this function was to give message of communal harmony and brotherhood among the masses. He also added that army is ever ready for any kind of help to be rendered for common masses.
Brig. Sharabh Pachory extended full cooperation to civil bodies under Operation Sadhbhavna and exhorted to work fearlessly for betterment of society as a whole. Prominent citizens extended whole hearted support to 4RR in their mission. Various media persons also participated in the function and appreciated army for organizing the meeting.
