| State employees, demand release of pay arrears, DA before Dusshera | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept All state govt employees conference in a meeting has demanded an early decision in releasing 6th pay commission arrears along with DA installment due from July this year in favour of employees pensioners of state government well before Dusshera festival. These installments have already been released by the central government to its employees and pensioners recently. Addressing a meeting here today, conference chief, Rajnesh Kapoor said the delay in the release of 6th pay commission arrears; DA installment has caused lot of hardship to the salaried class. Kapoor urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to intervene personally and release these incentives to salaried class, so that employees can have a sign of relief. Removal of all anomalies in SRO 93 deceleration of Jammu and Srinagar cities as B-1 city were other demands highlighted in the meeting.
