| Kashmiri Hindu Conference favours peace initiative in valley | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 24: the Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC) has expressed serious concern in constituting of deputation of Kashmiri Pandits to represent the cause of community before the all party delegation here on September 20, 2010. As per handout issued by the KHC, the deputation of Kashmiri Pandits was so dummy that NC MLC became the spokes man who earlier in the day accompanied the NC deputation and favored withdrawal of AFSPA and granting of autonomy. M.L Thussoo, who chaired the meeting of workers here today. This is an abominable joke with the entire Kashmiri community. Who took and nail oppose autonomy and with drawl of armed forces special power etc. he said the relief commission who constituted the deputation adopted a pick and chose exercise, personal discretion. He demanded probe by the chief secretary in this matter so that the officer does not misuse his power and official position in future. However, the conference favours step by step approach on peace initiative in the Kashmir valley. There should be no soft attitude towards the disruptors and anti-social and anti-national elements that made the valley people to suffer for such a longtime. The conference was among others attended by P.L Koul Budgami, K.L Ganjoo, AK Sadhoo, M.L Daftri, S.N Raina, AK Bhat, AK Koul, M.L Koul, G.L Bhat etc.
