9/24/2010 11:12:24 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 24: The Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) have extended full support to the consolidated drivers of SRTC whose strike enter day today. Addressing the agitating workers of SRTC the general, secretary, BMS Harbans Choudhary criticized the management which always back tracked from its commitments made through various agreements with its employees and in the present case also management assured the employees in written agreement that their case of regularization will be considered by 15th Sept. but instead of initiating talks negotiation in this regard management has started recruitment process for fresh appointment of drivers on Rs.6000 pm where as on the other hand drivers those who were appointed between 1999 to 2005 are hardly geeting Rs.2800 pm which is an open discrimination with the senior drivers. BMS demands that all the consolidated drivers be regularized immediately as committed,
