PDP demands supply of essential commodities to curfew hit Mendhar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Sept 25: Expressing concern over hardship being faced by the residents of Mendhar due to curfew, youth wing of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today asked the authorities to ensure supply of essential commodities and ration. In a press statement issued today PDP youth wing, state general secretary Nadeem Khan said that during the last 10 days curfew has been clamped in Mendhar and due to continued restrictions people have been facing numerous problems. He said that some patients who were in the dire need of medicines were not getting medical treatment due to continue restrictions and curfew. He further said that many areas of Mendhar were confronting with the problem of the shortage of ration as local administration has not made arrangements for supply of essential commodities in curfew bound areas. Meanwhile state secretary PDP youth wing, Shamim Ganaie, state secretary Ahsan Mirza, Raiz Atish, district president Anjum Mirza and Tanveer Dar asked the government to adopt human approach and heal wounds of the people of Mendhar where police have committed atrocities on civilians. |
