| Lok Adalat settles 423 case | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 25: A Permanent Lok-Adalat was held today in the District Court Complex Janipur here under the chairmanship of AK Shan Principal District and sessions Judge Jammu who is also Chairman District legal Service Authority. Five benches constituted in this Lok Adalat took up 512 cases. The benches decises 423 cases and awarded Rs 68, 85, 000.
Bench No 1 comprising AK Shan Principal District & Sessions Judge who also Chairman District Legal Services and Sanjeev Bhagat Addl. District Judge Matrimonial cases to deal with the matrimonial cases took up 15 cases. Thirteen cases were settled and Rs 28, 10, 000 was awarded as Permanent alimony.
Bench No 2 comprising Rajesh Sikri Addl. District Judge Bank Cases and Mr. Sanjay Parihar Presiding Officer MACT Jammu to deal with MACT and Bank Cases.
This bench taken of 40 cases MACT out of which 16 cases decided and awarded Rs 40, 75, 000/- and 19 bank cases were taken up out of which two pre litigation and nine post litigation cases were settled and amount Rs 71, 78, 350 was settled.
Bench No 3 was comprising MS Parihar CJM Jammu and YP Kotwal Special Mobile Magistrate Passanger Tax, this bench taken up 64 cases and decided 35 cases.
Bench NO 4 comprising by RN Wattal Special Mobile Magistrate Electricity and Mr. M R Chak Sub Judge Jammu, this bench taken up 60 cases and decided 34 cases.
Bench NO 3 presided over by Mr. Khalil Ahmed Choudhary Special Mobile Magistrate Traffic Jammu, this Bench taken up 314 traffic cases and disposed of all the 314 cases. ----JNF |
