| GCW Parade organizes Fresher's party | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 25: The Department of Computer Sciences Government College for Women Parade Jammu, organized a Fresher's Party 'JUMBOREE' in the premises of college to welcome the new students. Dr Kiran Bakshi Principal of the College was the Chief Guest.
The programme began with the formal welcome notes of the freshers by the senior students. The juniors displayed their talent and answered volley of questions designed by the seniors to judge their potential and give them an opportunity to open up with their seniors.
Principal Dr Kiran Bakshi appreciated the efforts of the department in taking initiative in arranging such a gala event which provided the platform to young buddies to display their potential, helping them to develop their personality and develop a congenial atmosphere.
She further emphasized that such events help in healthy interaction among seniors and juniors, helping to create positive environment in the department. Prof. Parveen Singh HoD Computer Sciences congratulated seniors for arranging such a magnificent party. Prof Parveen singh stressed that the new comers should follow the footsteps of their seniors and make all efforts in making the college flag flying high.
Mehak Jain was declared Miss fresher, Priyanka Singh was titled Miss Personality
Geepika Langer was titled Miss well dressed, Shefali Gupta was titled Perfect Smile
Mehak Dubey was titled Congenial
Number of cultural activities were presented by students of all the years which included Dances, songs and Ramp Show.The performances were applauded by the all the guests present.
