| MAM college organizes poster making/ slogan writing competition | | | Early times Report
Jammu, Sept 25: A poster making and slogan writing competition was organized by the Gandhian Study Centre of Govt MAM College on the topic Gandhian Life and Philosophy here today. About 25 students showcased their creative talent in a wonderful display of colourful poster and slogans. Principal of the College Dr. Ajeet Angral presided over the function and deliberated on the relevance of Gandhian Philosophy in modern times. He also stressed that Mahatma Gandhi's life should serve as a role model for the youth of today. The Director of the centre Dr Twinkel Suri exhorted the students to make such programmes more meaningulf by practicing Gandhian values in day-to-day lives and also asked the students that the Centre had intitiated an activity calendar for the preent session to propagate the Gandhian philosophy. The panel of judges included Prof. K.R. Sharma, Prof. Zubair Kales and Prof. Banpreet Kour. The first, second and third prizes were won by Tanvi Bhargava, Priyanka and Sonia Gupta respectively. Sahil Rangotra and Ravi Kant were given consolation prizes. |
