| Gupta hails center’s package for J&K | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 26: Provincial president of National Conference (NC) Rattan Lal Gupta has hailed the 8-point formula for valley announced by union home minister last night. He said the formula is the outcome of all party delegation which visited the state last week and hoped that this formula would help the people of the valley to maintain peace and gradually ensure to normalize the situation in the valley. The people of the valley have suffered much during last three- four months, he added.
Gupta described the initiatives of the central government for confidence building measures as a good gesture and well beginning in the valley. He appealed the civil society, intellectuals and people of the valley to come forward and strengthen the hands of chief minister. Omar Abdullah working hard for the equitable development of all the three regions of the state.
