| JKNPP denounces report of all party delegation | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 26: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has strongly denounced report of all party parliamentary delegation and criticized the eight point formula announced by union government. In a handout issued here today, it has been said that JKNPP held an emergency meeting here today under the leadership of State President and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia to discuss the 8-points initiative announced by the Union Home Minister. After detailed discussion, the party Secretariat observed that the initiative of the centre government is directed only to save the Omar Abdullah led NC-Cong coalition government rather than to bring peace in the state. The 8-points initiative nowhere proposes to address the genuine political aspirations of all the regions of the state and to end the regional and sub-regional discrimination. The proposed Tasks Forces for Jammu and Ladakh regions to examine their developmental needs shows that the central and state government does not recognize the political aspirations of these regions. The 8-points nowhere mention Delimitation of assembly/parliamentary, suggests measures for resolving the problems of refugees of 1947, 1965, 1971 besides of migrants of Jammu region, Resettlement Act, delay in commencing Central University in Jammu and de-recognition of Jammu Dental College. JKNPP took a view that proposal of appointing interlocutors for sustained dialogue is vague as neither person is specified not agenda clear. Others who were present in the meeting P.K. Ganju, Bani Lal Sharma, Anita Thakur, H.C. Jalmeria, Vilakshan Singh and Shakti Gupta.
