| Samvedna trust holds first general body meet | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 26: Samvedna Charitable trust in its first general body meeting held at Vinayak Nagar, Muthi , besides expressing happiness over the establishment of a registered trust for the upliftment of socially downtrodden section of the society, also deliberated on the future activities and steps to be taken for achieving the aims and objectives of the trust. The meeting was chaired by the Rakesh Bhat, chairman trust, who in its inaugural address said that the term of the body formed will last for two years and thereafter the members would be elected as per the rules formed for the purpose. He also released the list of the members of the trust body which included Sunil Raina as Vice Chairman , Sunil Kaw as general secretary , Chander Shaker as Joint secretary, Anil Kapoor as treasurer, Rohit Pandit as publicity advisor.
The elected body also designated Sunil Pandita, Anil Koul and Yog Raj Sharma as executive members of the trust. The chairman of the trust appealed public in general and philanthropist in particular to come forward and extend their helping hand in making the efforts of trust a success .The meeting ended with vote of thanks by Rohit Pandit .
