| KP leader term’s Centre’s package as incomplete | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 26: Reacting to the Centre’s eight point package for Kashmir, Kundan Kashmiri, National President, KPC and his other office bearers of Delhi & Jammu, termed the said initiative incomplete and inconclusive as this nature of package should have been declared for Jammu and Ladakh, particularly to displaced Kashmiri Pandits who have been the main victims of the militancy. Kashmir said that long pending demands of displaced KPs like age relaxation, settlement amount of Rs 25 lakh each to overaged unemployed youth, enhancement of relief upto Rs 10,000 and adjustment of recently appointed KP employees in Kashmir to be posted at safer zones particularly in Jammu region, have been totally ignored and sidelined. He stated that appointment of interlocutor for KP’s was also need of time to discuss about the consolidated rehabilitation of displaced KP’s at the land of Kashyap in Kashmir valley to allow them to live as a community together under free flow of Indian constitution. . Kundan Kashmiri also stated that there was also need to take such initiative for hundreds of security forces who got injured during the present crisis in Kashmir. The incomplete package declared by the Government ignoring Jammu, Ladakh and in particular Kashmiri Pandits have created resentment and annoyance amongst the nationalist forces. Later, KPC leader stated that there was urgent need to differentiate between common man and separatist elements in the valley and the separatists who are habitual troubleshooters needs to be dealt seriously with iron hand without any appeasement, concessions or sops Those KPC leaders who reacted on the same lines were M.L.
