| Baze Chak, Lions XI win ties in T20 | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 26: Baze Chak Cricket Club (BCCC) and Lions XI Kotli Shah Dula won their respective matches to sail into the second round of the ongoing Twenty20 Friendship Cricket Tournament at Bana Singh Stadium, R S Pura, here today. In the first match of the day, BCCC defeated Tinday Kalan Nihalpur Simbal by 25 runs. Batting first, BCCC set a target of 121 runs for the loss of eight wickets, which, in reply, Tinday Kalan could not chase and the whole side bowled out for 96 runs in 15.3 overs. Kaka was declared man of the match for his 21-ball 23 runs innings from the winners. In the second match of the day, Lions XI registered five wickets win over Shakti Club Mule Chak. Earlier, batting first, Shakti Club set a target of 92 runs losing all their wickets in 19.2 overs, which, in reply, Lions XI chased in 13.5 overs with five wickets in hand. Shashi was adjudged man of the match for his four wickets haul. Today’s matches were officiated byMadan Mohan, Pankaj Sasun, Jagtar Singh and Suresh Singh.
