JJSF holds protest against transporters | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sept 27: Continue their protest against the misbehaviour by Jammu RTO and concerned Department towards the students, Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF) today held a protest demonstration at Sheedi Sthal, Jammu. All the activist of JJSF gathered at Shaheedi Sthal and raised slogans against RTO, Jammu. The protest was led by Mohd. Arif, president, all private colleges JJSF. Addressing the gathering, Arif said that transporters were not following the court order of giving concession to the students in bus fare, rather they were ill-treated. The students belonged to far-flung areas and come from large distances and seek admission in government colleges and due to these transporters, they face lot of problems. The transporters check the I-cards of the students but there is no such step from the government that the any body could check the uniform of these transporter. Partap Singh Jamwal, state vice president, JJSF also addressed the students and demanded that the concerned authorities should make some arrangements for these students and give strictly instruction to these transporters. After this JJSF activist burnt the effigy of RTO Jammu and asked him to take stern action against this transporters. Other JJSF leaders were present in this protest Rafaqt Ajiz, Yogesh Talwar, Rahul Sharma. Raman Choudhary, Jyoti Choudhary, Balak Ram Chib, Harmeet Singh, Rahul Ghai.
