| Cong workers hold meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sept 27:To take stock of the problems of people in Vijaypur constituency, a meeting of Congress workers was held at Vijaypur under the chairmanship of Thakur Hari Singh,Vice President, PCC.
Block Congress leader Dr Butti Ra, Onkar Singh, Rachpal Sharma, Madan Lal, Choudhary Prakash Sharma and Rattan Verma spoke and highlighted the local problems.
While speaking Th. Hari Singh appealed to the people to maintain communal harmony and mutual brotherhood at any cost. He said that they should not give any heed to rumors of anti-national elements who were hell bent to disturb the communal harmony.
He assured the people that the problems like shortage of fertilizers, seed, power curtailment would be taken up with the concerned authorities. He asked the Congress workers to be united and strengthen the Congress party at the grass root level.
