| Regional sports meet of BVM ends | | | Sarita Jamwal

Udhampur, Sept 27: THE 22nd annual two-days long regional sports meet of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir School concluded here today with prize distribution function at Degree College ground today .
The sports meet was formally declared closed by chief guest Senior Superintendent of Police, Suriender Gupta after distributing prizes among winners . Principal Degree College Nutan Kumar, President Shiksha Samiti (J&k), Ashok Kumar Koul ,Rajinder Singh. S.K Gandotra CEO , District Youth Services and sports officer and number of distinguished personalities and people from different walks graced the occasion . Principal Renu Sharma also presented annual sports report of school on the occasion and presented vote of thanks .
More than 300 children from different school of Jammu Province running under Vidya Bharti umbrella participated in two day long sports meet which began today .
Addressing the students, chief guest SSP said that games and sports play a vital role in the in all-round development of an individual . He said that a sound mind can only rest in sound body for which organization and participation of students at school level is must so that they can excel in academic as well as in sports at higher levels in future ..
