| Youth cong activists take out motorcycle rally | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 27: The state unit of Youth Congress today organized a motorcycle rally from Satwari Chowk to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk at Jewel Chowk.
Youth Congress activists were wearing white attires with characteristic saffron turbans adding graceful color and charisma to the event. The activists were renting heart-rending slogans ‘’ with a long queue of as many as 500 motorcycles trooping and travelling down the street in strict discipline and alacrity adding grace to the occasion.
Rally culminated at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk from where Youth Congress workers marched towards PYC headquarters at Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu. General Secretary of Indian Youth Congress Amrinder Singh Raja called for emulating the ideas and philosophy of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his contribution to Indian society.
Shoaib Lone, President PYC, also applauded the efforts and achievements of Bhagat Singh in imbibing a sense of revolution among Indian youth. Senior Vice-President R. S. Pathania explained relevance and significance of Bhagat Singh in today’s India whereby he had vouched for a casteless, classless and egalitarian society.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Pankaj Chibber, Manjit Singh Jatt, Amit Chib, Shivang Satya Gupta, Bezad Malik, Varun Singhla, Neeraj Gupta, Pranav, Sonu Dogra, Mandeep Singh, Sanjay Gupta, Virender Singh, Varun Magotra, Charanjeet Singh, Shashi Bhushan Advocate, Maheshwar, Irfan Naqib, Rajvir Manhas, Amit Manhas, Chander Parkash, Chander Parkash and other prominent Youth Congress activists.
