| Kashmiri Sikh Sangat holds meet | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 27: Kashmir Sikh Sangat in a meeting held under the chairmanship of convener of organization to deliberate and discuss the 8-point package programme announced by Govt. of India. The step initiated by the government is a welcome gesture as it is a part of initiative started by it to normalize the Kashmir situation. This will go a long way for normalizing the hostile atmosphere of the Kashmir valley.
As per press release it was viewed with concern that after giving full assurances by the all party delegation that minority will be taken care of, nothing has come out in the package announced by the government which has heart the sentiments of minorities living in valley and has demoralized their confidence once again.
Constitution of two apex committees for Jammu and Ladakh regions each is appreciated, as this will give an opportunity to different shades of society to plead their views points. It was also requested that the intraocular to be appointed for carrying out the negotiation should be competent, honest, impartial and unbiased.
It was once again stressed upon government of India that special employment package for minorities living in Kashmir valley be announced so that faith and confidence is restored back in the minorities who are already bent upon to migrate in view of unemployment of youths and anti-minority hostile atmosphere prevailing in the Kashmir valley.
