| Bharat petroleum open community kitchen at SD hospital, RS Pura | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 27: The Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd., government of India enterprise under its corporate social responsibility dedicated community kitchen at Sub Dist. Hospital RS Pura. The inauguration of community kitchen was jointly done by MLA, RS Pura, Prof. GR Bhagat and MLA, Suchetgarh, Shyam Lal Choudhary, in the presence of area manager LPG, BPCL-J&K, Surinder Dogra, chief medical officer Jammu, BR Sharma, BMO RS Pura, Basant and Sanjeev Bhagat manager Jakfed.
On the occasion area manager LPG Surinder Dogra explained about the concept of community kitchen and its importance especially in rural areas. He said community kitchen opened here will serve the needy persons during their stay at hospital where fresh and homely food is not available, this community kitchen will serve as an alternative kitchen for patients and their attendants, he added.
MLA’s Bhagat and Choudhary appreciated BPCL for their social concern by opening community as the hospital. Dr Sharma, while speaking on the occasions appreciated BPCL for provided cooking facilities at Sub. Dist. Hospital RS Pura and hope that this will help the needy patients and attendants who remain admitted in hospital.
