Centre encouraging anti-national forces: JKVM
9/27/2010 10:15:52 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 27: In its mission of public awareness campaign, Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch (JKVM) held a meeting at Basant Nagar Extension, Janipur Jammu and discussed the present political scenario in J&K state.
The participants expressed concern over the developments, which took place during the two-day’s visit of All Party Parliamentary Delegation to J&K State. The Morcha members alleged the Centre government of ignoring the
militancy hit Kashmiri Pandits, who have now entered 21st year of exile, and the minorities living in Kashmir in hostile atmosphere, Jammu region and Ladakh. They said that the Centre has also remained silent on long pending demand of POK refugees.
JKVM activists said that by releasing the law breakers and encouraging the stone pelters and anti-national forces, the centre is setting a new trend for those peace loving and law abiding people who are unheard and marginalized.
Speaking on the occasion, the state president of JKVM B.L.Bhat said that despite this initiative, nothing would change on the ground. The need of the hour is to restore secular character in Kashmir Valley by rehabilitating the internally displaced Kashmiri Hindus at a single place, adjacent to Srinagar, by establishing a township like one of the half a dozen colonies that have sprung around Srinagar during the last 20 years.
The members also demanded immediate attention of the state Govt for passage of Shrine and temple bill to stop illegal encroachment of the left over religious places in valley. JKVM condemned the attempt by some vested interest people to grab the Land of Mata Jawala ji temple at Khrew in Pulwama District.
The meeting was presided over by R.L.Teng and among others was addressed by H.L.Bhat, National General Secretary JKVM, Ashok Kangan sr.leader, M.L .Bhat organising secretary, P.N.Pandita, state general secretary and Tej Sagar, additional Org.secretary.
