JAMMU, Sept 28: New eight episodes serial ‘Yakeen’ of Doordarshan Kashmir will help in bringing forth the talent of local artists at the state and national level.
This was stated by Producer of the serial Shankar Bhan in a press conference here today. He said that ‘Yakeen is a social family drama which highlights clinical observation of the social elite of the society. Story also holds a collateral significance to have started from a town Anantnag in valley and leading to Jammu that projects the communal harmony too on its parallel references.
“My sole ambition have been to rope in as many local artists in my works so that the artists of Jammu and Kashmir could reflect their talent at various platform and achieve success in commercial cinema”, he said, adding that Project Yakeen is likely to reach the beautiful locales of Jammu in peripheries that may help projecting Jammu as one of the most attractive region for cinema making.
