| RR provides furniture, fixture to GHS Bedar | | | POONCH-OCT-28 Apart from constructing school buildings in the border areas of Rajouri and Poonch Districts, the Army has been in the forefront to provide other logistics to these schools for the comforts of the students.
The Army, under its Operation Sadbhavana, has undertaken numerous projects including construction of school buildings, provision of potable drinking water and Medicare to the inhabitants of the area.
To meet the shortage of furniture and furnishing, the 27 Rashtriya Rifles (Maratha LI) provided desk, chairs, cupboards and other items to Government High School Bedar at a function today. Commanding Officer Col Bhupinder Singh presented these items to the school management.
Addressing the gathering Col Bhupinder has urged the parents of the children to look after the health and hygiene of their wards and guide them to become productive citizens of the Nation.
