| NC urges for compensation to farmers | | | JAMMU: A meeting was held at Dyalachak in block Hiranagar which was organized by block President Hiranagar Shanti Saroop, and was attended by district committee, block committee office bearers, sarpanch, panches and prominent party workers. Addressing the meeting Rattan Lal Gupta, Sr. Vice President said government is not taking adequate measures for promoting self employment opportunities for the unemployed youth in the state. He said the youth gets frustrated when he does not get loan from the banking institutions. He also expressed concern over the acute shortage of essential commodities and dilapidated condition of roads in the rural areas.
