| Fire demonstration at Air Force Station organized | | |

JAMMU, Sept 29: A fire demonstration and mutual aid scheme in coordination with Fire & Emergency Service J&K was organized at Air Force Station Jammu. The demonstration was organized to bring awareness among all personnel and their families about the importance of fire free zones in all areas of human activities.
During the demonstration a fire awareness campaign was launched by Air Force Fire Section.
A joint fire drill was conducted along with Civil Fire Brigade under Mutual Fire Aid Scheme. Dy Director Md Ashraf along with their fire crew and CFT along with crew also participated in the Mutual Aid Drill.
All airmen, Jawans of BSF, CRPF and DSC attended in large number.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Group Captain Ghar Singh, Station Commander reiterated that prevention of fire is better than fire fighting and only constant training and awareness of usage of fire appliance can prevent the outbreak of fire.
