He said that Jammu has been completely ignored and like previous governments, aspirations of Jammu people have not been addressed both by the state and centre. Arora has appealed the Centre government not to encourage the government which is unable to control the situation in Kashmir due to its non-political and Kashmir-centric approach and confused policies. “We always favour stringent laws to deal with militancy and this step of narrowing down applicability of Armed Forces Special Powers Act in state will further deteriorate the situation’, he mentioned.
Arora welcomed all the organizations who have extended support to the Bandh call as it will reflect the unity and united stand of Jammu people over the issue of discrimination with Jammu. BJP also warned state administration and police machinery not to disturb peaceful Bandh. He appealed the people to observe complete and peaceful Bandh.
