| CPL for smooth proceedings in summer session | | |

SRINAGAR, Sept 29: Congress Party Legislators’ (CPL) meet was held here today under the chairmanship of Choudhary Mohammad Aslam, who is also the Congress Legislature Party Leader in Assembly.
The meeting chalked out the strategy for conduct of smooth functioning of forth coming legislative session both in Assembly and Council commencing from tomorrow in Summer Capital of the State.
The members unanimously resolved that the business of both the Houses should be taken seriously and all issues of public interest debated to facilitate public. Among others Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, Minister for School Education, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Minister for Revenue Raman Bhalla, Minister for Health, Sham Lal Sharma, Minister for Medical Education, R. S. Chib, Minister of State for Cooperative and Finance, Dr. Manohar Lal, Minister of State for Power and CAPD, Shabir Ahmad Khan, legislators, G. A. Mir, Mohammad Sharief Niaz, Abdul Gani Vakil, Ashok Kumar, Viqar Rasool, Subash Gupta, Naresh Gupta, Mohammad Amin Bhat, Bashir Ahmed Magray were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, Congress legislators also hailed the 8-point formula announced by Central Government for bringing peace and normalcy in the State. It was stated that the package is very comprehensive that has taken interests of all the regions into consideration. Its implementation, it was observed will mark a good beginning towards resolution of State-Centric problems for lasting peace and tranquility
