| Police-public meet held at Gadigarh Lower | | |

Jammu, Sept 29: Police- public mutual cooperation is very essential to keep the communal harmony, said SP (South) while addressing a public meeting at Lower Gadigarh. The meeting was also addressed by other prominent persons. Numberdar Khazan Singh said that encroachment of government land by land mafias need to be curbed for which Dy SP (S) Kaith assured that such encroachments on government land shall be controlled provided it is brought in the notice of police.
While speaking in the meeting Mohinder Singh said minibus operator usually harass the commuters by delaying their buses beyond the scheduled time. He also complained that conductors are charging excess busfare at their own and do not carry fare list fixed by the government. SP (S) Rajeshwar Singh listened to the grievances of the public patiently and assured for their immediate redressal.
