| Non camp displaced KP demands Jagti type accomondate | | |

Jammu, Sept 29: The non-camp displaced Kashmiri Pandit co-ordination committee in a meeting held under the chairmanship of DN Kissu, in which all members of the committee and prominent persons of the locality participated. Keeping in view the prevailing conditions of the displaced Kashmiri Pandits, and after through discussion on various subjects, and state and Central Govt were requested through these resolutions for prompt & necessary action.
Members demand provision for Jagti type camp accommodation, for non-camp displaced Kashmiri Pandits, with preference to those living in rented accommodations in the first phase.
Enhance in the monthly case relief to Rs. 12000 in favour of relief card holders, because of high cost of living, due to price rise and inflation.
Expressed dissatisfaction, over the 8 point package for kashmiri’s in which the other areas and people of the state have been ignored, particularly, Kashmiri Pandits.
Filling up of all 6000posts as provided under Prime Minister’s package as well as issuance of appointment orders in favour of those candidates selected already. It was also stressed that till the normalcy in Kashmir valley, the services of these employees may be utilized in Migrant Offices and Migrant institutions in Jammu as early as possible.
