State’s accession to India irrevocable: Kaul
9/29/2010 11:32:22 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 29: All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) activist in a meeting meet discussed the present political developments going on regarding Kashmir imbroglio. Future course of action and forthcoming programmes to be taken by AIKS were also discussed threadbare. The meeting was chaired by Pt. Moti Kaul, President AIKS.
In his address Kaul while criticizing the move aiming at giving autonomy or more powers to the Jammu and Kashmir state said that eight point
plane announced by Home Minister of India, P Chidambaram misses any soothing touch to the Kashmiri Pandit community despite Pandits being the main sufferers and victims of religious discrimination and onslaught leading to genocide, ethnic cleansing and total extinction. He said that Kashmir problem cannot find a durable solution unless Kashmiri Pandits, being indigenous representatives of a 5000 years old history, are part of the negotiations and dialogues as equal stake holders.
Declaring Kashmir as an integral and indispensable part of Indian dominion and said that on 26th October 1947 Maharaja Hari Singh signed the instrument of accession and this day is an important day in Kashmiri Pandit calendar. All India Kashmiri Samaj and its affiliates all over the world will observe 26th of October as an accession day.
Through this programme we want to send a clear message to the world that Kashmir’s accession with India is a fact of history and is irrevocable. An effort will be made to ensure the participation of non-Kashmiri Pandits and other patriotic forces also. To involve the larger civil society of India to defeat the anti-national forces is the main idea behind it, said Kaul.
Describing Indo-European Kashmir Forum Conference on Sunday 19th September 2010 held at Wembley, London as a big success Kaul said that all Kashmiri Pandits living outside the country are equally concerned about the present mess created by the separatists and about the appeasement by the Indian government.
