GEA civil oppose retd engineers re-employment in housing board | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 29: Re-employment of retired engineers and other official in J&K housing board has been totally resented by the all J&K Graduate engineers association of civil wing. In a meeting association chaired by State General secretary of association Er. Gandeep Pargal strongly comdemned and opposed the nefarious move by the Housing Board authorities to re-emploiy retired Engineers and officals. He said on the one hand Chief Minister is trying his best to get a comprehensive employment package for the Youth of this state and on the other hand officers like Kalip Thusu, Managing Director, J&K Housing Board are re-employing retired people thereby negating these sincere efforts of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. The proposal to bring his favorite engineers through the backdoor thereby jeopardizing the rights of in-service as well as an unemployed engineer is not only unjust and uncalled for but also wreraks of malafide intentions. The association fails to understand as to how a tainted officer like Thusu who has been embroiled in controversy become so powerful as to brazenly contravene the state policy of Govt. of providing maximum employment opportunities to the youth. The association on behalf of thousand of hard working cadre and also on behalf of our unemployed brethren fervently appeals to the Chief Minister to immediately intervene in this matter and thwart this ill-advised move of Managing Director J&K Housing Board. Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion include Er. Ashok Tandon, Er. Gopal Sharma, Er. Kulbushan Bhau, Er. Sanjeev Sharma, Er. Ravinder Singh, Er. Suresh Kumar, Er Ajay Kumar etc.
