A function was organized by Camat India at presentation Convent Higher Secondary School here today. To distribute certificates of excellence to the boys and girls awarded Black Belts in Martial Arts.
The chief guest was Hugh Gardnerr world grandmaster in Martial Arts. The gust of honour was Cheryl Gardner. The function was presided over by Sr. Phyllis Principal Presentation Convent Sr. Secondary School.
On this occasion Gardner displayed some self defence techniques to the students. The names of the awardee are Palak Bijral, Prakriti, Rhea & Mahima from presentation Convent Sr.Sec School, Vaneet Kumar, Puneet, Sumeet, Rishav, Ishtyaq and Shivangi from Holy Trinity Convent School From Damsal, Meera, Anamika, Mahvish, Neha, Raghav, Pritshi, Abhijeet, Aryan, Rahul, Vidhur, and Vishal from Govt. School Reasi, Sheena Sania, Savita, Vishu, Nitish, Vivek Vishal, Pankaj & Keshav from Holy Family Convent School from Nagri.
Black Belts were awarded to the instructors-Mohit (II degree) Pawan (III degree) Bindya (Ist degree) Pratiba (II degree) Pavitray (II degree) Kaviraj) (II degree) Kunnal (II degree) and Parvinder (IV degree).
The function was held under the supervision of Pardeep Sharma Fifth degree Black Belt (Australia) holder, beside Chief Instructor and examiner India.
