| 3 kg poppy seized, trucker held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 30: A truck driver was arrested and three kg of poppy was recovered from his possession in Miran Sahib area of Jammu district, police said.
The truck, on its way from Kashmir Valley to Punjab, was intercepted by police at Miran Sahib, on the outskirts of Jammu city, and three kgs of poppy was recovered from him late last evening, police officials said, adding truck driver Amrik Singh was arrested and a case has been registered against him.
