| Huge dump of crackers seized in Bishnah | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 30: A huge dump of crackers was seized by Bishnah police this afternoon.
According to report, Tehsildar Bishnah, Rakesh Sharma got an inputs that a person namely Deepak Jandial, a resident of the town, had illegally dumped crackers in his godown at Bishnah.
He immediately called the police and raided the spot along with a police party led by SHO Bishnah.
During the raid, the team found 60 big packs of crackers worth Rs 15-16 lakh stored in a house. All the crackers were immediately seized.
When contacted, Tehsildar Bishnah Rakesh Sharma confirmed that the dump has been seized and the police have been said case to register case against the accused.
Police has registered a case under section 144 against the accused.
