| Omar Abdullah’s tour programme to Doda rural finalized | | | EARLYTIMES REPORTER JAMM | OCT 28 The meeting of district working committee and prominent National Conference (NC) workers of district Ramban Banihal area was held at Batote today, Vice President, Sheikh Bashir Ahmed and Bimla Luthra Provincial president women wing participated in the meeting. The meeting was covened to finalize tour programme of Omar Abdullah, president NC in District Doda Rural “B”.(Ramban –Banihal”) While addressing the meeting Sheikh said, coalition government has totally neglected the far flung areas of the state. The developmental activities started in the regime of Dr. Farooq Abdullah government have come to stand still. The coalition partners playing with the sentiments of the people of the state with cheap slogans, but the ground reality has not changed. Leadership has chalked out a detailed programme to reach every nook and corner of the state and highlight problems being faced by the people. He said NC believes in healthy criticism. He asked the workers prepare for elections which will be held at any time in the state as the crack in the coalition partners are visible now. He called upon the workers. Addressing the meeting Bimla Luthra, said that women folk constitute more than fifty percent of the population and it has much responsibilities than the men in the society. Women folk should come forward to highlight ther issues democratically. She asked the women folk to come forward and join National Conference to strengthen the party and its leadership. The meeting was also addressed by MLA Dr. Chaman Lal, Anila Shaheen, Rita Guptal, Vijay Singh Raju, Z.D Babar, Arshad Amlik, Arif Mir, Chattar Singh, Sarpanch,Anayut Ullah Slaria and others.
