J&K legitimately Indian, Obama cannot dictate terms to India

EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 30 Ever since Barack Hussain Obama took over as the US president, he and his administration have been interfering in the internal affairs of India, which is an independent and sovereign country. Not that there was no American interference in the internal affairs of India before Obama became the US President. There was interference. In fact, ever since 1948, when Jawaharlal Nehru, at the behest of the then Governor-General of India, Lord Mountbatten, who did not enjoy ant plenipotentiary powers, took the issue of the Pakistani aggression on Jammu and Kashmir, the United States has been siding with Pakistan and giving it financial and military aid - aid always used against India to bleed it and destroy it. (It was Lord Mountbatten, who on his own committed a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir on November 1, 1947, at Lahore while talking to the Pakistani President and an ardent believer in the concept of the two-nation theory, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, despite the fact that he was a nominated Governor-General of India having no diplomatic powers.)
The American administration has on occasions more than one supported the Pakistani viewpoint on Jammu and Kashmir in the Security Council and never asked Islamabad to accept the UN resolutions on the state directing the aggressor Pakistan to vacate the aggression and withdraw its troops, regular or otherwise from the occupied areas (read Pakistan-occupied-Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, integral parts of India). On the contrary, it has adopted an anti-India attitude. It's no wonder then that Pakistan and Kashmiri separatists and communalists pin their faith in the US administration with the hope that the US would ultimately help them achieve their ulterior designs on India.
It needs to be underlined that the American interference in the internal affairs of India has become more pronounced ever since the Americans sprang a big surprise by electing Obama as the US President. His popularity graph has been falling very fast not only in the United States but also across the world, barring a few countries in the Muslim world. In fact, actions of Obama have vertically divided the American society - something unheard of the Americans' long history. The Obama administration has not only been creating troubles for India in the turbulent and strife-ridden Afghanistan in order to help Pakistan establish its stranglehold over the war-ravaged country under the guise of war on terror, but also creating troubles for New Delhi in Jammu and Kashmir. It has been urging directly and indirectly New Delhi to settle the Kashmir issue to the satisfaction of the people of Kashmir (read Muslims), despite the fact that its public posture - Jammu and Kashmir is a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan.
The fact of the matter is that Obama has crossed all the lines to help the cause of Pakistan and Kashmiri separatists. Reports emanating from Washington D.C. clearly suggest that Obama has planned to browbeat and blackmail India in order to harm it and promote the Pakistani cause in Jammu and Kashmir. According to reports, Barack Hussain Obama has set the "Kashmir settlement" as a precondition for a seat in the world body, Security Council, which the Late Union Home Minister, Sardar Patel, once described as "Insecurity Council." He had made this comment when Nehru insisted that the issue of Pakistani aggression on Jammu and Kashmir should be referred to the Security Council for settlement.
It's true that New Delhi on Wednesday dismissed the suggestions that "the settlement of the Kashmir issue is a pre-condition set by the US for a permanent seat at the UN Security Council", saying "there is no linkage between the two" and that "reports suggesting Kashmir-settlement-for-seat at high table are purely speculative." There must be some truth behind these disturbing reports; Obama must be contemplating a coup against India. The very fact that Foreign Minister SM Krishna has been quite vague in his response to the queries of media persons to this effect does indicate that the Obama administration is out to damage India.
How could Obama link the issue of Kashmir to the India's legitimate right to become a permanent member of the Security Council? Who is he and how can he dare to dictate terms to India, which is five times bigger than the United States and which enjoys the full backing of over one billion Indians, all committed to defend the national cause in Jammu and Kashmir? He has no right. New Delhi must tell Obama not to poke his nose in the country's internal affairs.
As for the claim of India to a permanent seat in the Security Council, it is justifiable. India has an impeccable record to deserve a permanent seat at the Security Council. India is in a position to play an important role in all the internal for a, including the United Nations and the United Nations Security Council. India is a global power and it is an established fact. No one can, not even the so-called world inspector UN, take India for a ride.
