| Body Building Championship Mr J&K on Oct 2 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 1:Body Building Association, Jammu and Kashmir, in collaboration with Indian Body Building Federation is going to organise ‘Body Building Championship Mr J&K 2010’ on October 2 at Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
This was informed by Usman Abdul Majid, Chairman, Body Building Association Jammu and Kashmir at a press conference here today.
Majid said, “This year Mr J&K 2010 will be organised on October 2 and association has called upon the youth to participate in the event to display their muscles and talent”.
Minister for Revenue and Relief, Raman Bhalla will be the chief guest who would inaugurate the event while officials from Indian Body Building Federation will also grace the occasion and boost the morale of the aspirants.
Majid said that the association has decided to organise championship on October 2 in a move to give a message of peace and non-violence to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir as Mahatma Gandhi himself was a symbol of peace and non-violence.
Speaking at the press conference, Rajesh Dutta, Secretary, Body Building Association J&K informed that about 150 participants from Jammu and Kashmir State to take part in this Body Building Championship Mr J&K-2010 on October 2 in 9 different categories.
Dutta appealed to the Jammuites particularly youth to join the event scheduled to be held at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. He further informed that the Body Building Championship Mr J&K-2010n will start from 1:00PM onwards.
Among others who were present in the press conference included Yogesh Sharma, President, Body Building Association J&K, Dr Rohit Gupta, C L Dogra, vice presidents, Nand Kishore, Sandeep Dutta, organizers and others.
